Named Sustainable Partner
During the December 2025 Tahoe Live pilot, Wastie was publicly named the festival’s Sustainable Partner, recognizing its role in testing a more interactive, attendee-led approach to waste reduction. This designation was shared by the festival across official social channels during the event.
The partnership positioned Wastie as an on-site sustainability activation rather than a static waste solution.
On-Site Distribution & Adoption
Wastie was distributed directly to attendees across key gathering areas during the Tahoe Live pilot. Bags were introduced as a hands-free solution for cups and small waste, with many attendees clipping them on while socializing and moving through the venue.
Early adoption was strongest in social areas where attendees were holding drinks for extended periods.
Attendee Engagement & Social Signal
The pilot generated organic attendee participation, with festivalgoers sharing Wastie across social media and tagging the brand to engage with the sustainability initiative. This social layer extended the pilot beyond physical distribution and reinforced Wastie as a visible, shareable activation.
Social participation was amplified through an on-site giveaway, encouraging attendees to share and interact with the program in real time.
