FAQs

  • The idea for Wastie started at a music festival, standing in a field surrounded by people having the time of their lives—and trash everywhere. It wasn’t that people didn’t care; they just didn’t have a simple way to do the right thing. I remember thinking, what if taking care of the planet was as easy as clipping something on before you walked out the door? That question became Wastie. A small, wearable bag that makes sustainability effortless, turning waste management into part of the experience instead of an afterthought. It’s built for festivals, beaches, parks—anywhere people gather and create memories. Wastie exists because we all want to leave places better than we found them.

Wear it. Use it. Keep it clean.

  • Wastie is a small, wearable trash bag designed to reduce litter at festivals, parks, and outdoor events. It clips to your body and gives you a personal way to manage your waste while staying hands-free.

  • Our current bags are made from Tyvek® — a lightweight, durable, and water-resistant material that’s recyclable under specialty programs. Future versions may use recycled polyester (RPET), organic cotton, or compostable materials.

  • Wastie bags should be hand-washed using mild soap and cold water. Gently rinse and let it air dry. Do not machine wash or put in the dishwasher, as this may damage the material and stitching.

  • Whether you're a festival organizer, environmental advocate, or just a fan, you can support us by spreading the word, becoming a sponsor, or reaching out to collaborate. Let’s clean up the way we party.
